The Olympics….a global event that comes around once every four(4) years is upon us! Today’s feature is a TALL known to the world as a bolt of lightning and he is one athlete to keep an eye out for…(literally since he is the fastest man in the world)! This Jamaican born track star is sure to light up the track in London at this year’s games…he is the swagged out Usain Bolt. Even as an American, I am excited to see if he will break his own record and how far in the dust he will leave his competition!

Why we like him:
Well besides the fact that we here at T|P|Republic like winners, Usain is a charismatic, stylish world champion that outshines all other athletes when it comes to dance moves (I mean he even inspired Prince Harry to attempt to rep JA when he visited the island). Usain is a humble gold medal winner that carries the everyday pressures of his country every time he hits the track.

Usain Bolt is originally from Trelawny, Jamaica and attended William Knibb Memorial High School. In 2008 in Beijing, China Usain broke all World Records and 3 Olympic Records.
