During my recent travels, I had the opportunity to experience 2 popular and established airlines. jETBLUE and Delta Airlines. 2 different airlines, 2 different corporate structures, 2 different experiences and only 1 choice to whom I will be flying with moving forward.
jETBLUE has made a few significant changes to the interior of their planes, one of which was including extra legroom. No, I do not mean sitting in an emergency row where you can’t recline your seat which makes the ride more uncomfortable. I am talking yawn and stretch your entire body leg room…the kind that makes your purchase worth it.
Delta on the other hand has cramped quarters
. Probably the most uncomfortable flight I’ve ever been on…thank God it wasn’t longer than 4 hours. What I have yet to understand is why Delta, among other airlines, has not upgraded their planes to better fit us TALLS? Delta, do you have something against us? One would think so based on the lack of leg room available to those over 6’1.
Charging someone bigger than normal (in weight) is understood only because weight can be lost but we can’t lose our height, Delta. Have you ever heard of something called a growth spurt??
jETBLUE has gotten with the program, how about you do the same before you lose some major bucks to your bottom line…remember, statistics show that TALLS make the most money.
