Breakdown of the Fiscal Cliff

January 15, 2013 – first paycheck of the year for a lot of 9-5′ers and so, possibly the first time many every day working Americans have seen the effects of our country’s Fiscal Cliff crisis. In case one of your New Year’s Resolutions was to get more rest and you’ve been missing the nightly news, Congress approved the passing of a “fiscal cliff” deal at the end of 2012. The House voted 257 to 167 to send the measure to President Obama for his signature. So what exactly does this mean and who does it affect?
We’ve touched on the topic of being “too tall” for tall industries…well here’s an example of one beautiful tall young lady in Brazil that may be seen as too tall for anything. Check out her story here…

The average rapper is probably slightly shorter than the average male which would place them around 5 feet and 8 inches. But once in a while there are some hip-hop artists that tower over others.
Jay-Z is above average height. Slim Thug is tall. Montell Jordan is even taller. All of these dudes are above average height for an entertainer, but a 7 Fo0t Rapper?? Personally, I am glad to see us TALLS branching out to do other things besides play sports.

So this is a sad Monday morning. I am sure many of you from around the globe heard of the tragic news from Newtown, Connecticut. “The Massacre” has now turned into a media nightmare. Many people are turned off with how disrespectful news stations from around the country have invaded this small distraught town.

Happy Monday, TALLS! Browsing online today, I came across an article at nytimes.com called “How My Smartphone Emptied My Pockets” that piqued my interest. Initially, I thought the article would say something about how smartphones are becoming too expensive, hence emptying everyone’s pockets, but turns out that wasn’t at all the topic.
